Privacy Policy

What RoadQuest collects
RoadQuest may collect account information such as your name and email address; family profile and membership information; trip plans and route-related information you choose to save; scores, rewards, preferences, and app state; memories you upload or create, including photos, notes, and audio; support communications; and technical records needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
Children and family profiles
RoadQuest is designed for family use under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Parent accounts control family access and may create child or family profiles. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding what information about children is entered or uploaded. RoadQuest should not be used by a child to create an independent paid account without appropriate parental or guardian involvement.
How information is used
We use information to create and secure accounts, maintain family membership, provide trips, games, stories, rewards and memories, verify purchases, send account verification and password-recovery messages, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, maintain service reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Payments and service providers
Payments are processed through Stripe. RoadQuest does not need to store your full payment-card number. RoadQuest also uses infrastructure and service providers for hosting, database operations, transactional email, AI-assisted features, and related technical services. These providers process information only as needed to deliver the applicable service, subject to their own terms and privacy obligations.
AI features
If you use an AI-assisted RoadQuest feature, relevant prompts or trip context may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the requested output. Avoid placing highly sensitive personal information into AI prompts. AI-generated content can be inaccurate and should not be relied on for emergency, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.
Security and storage
RoadQuest uses technical safeguards including hashed passwords, authenticated access controls, server-side authorization, protected file access, rate limits, secure purchase verification, and encrypted HTTPS connections in production. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention, access, export, and deletion
Information is retained as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations. RoadQuest includes account data export and account deletion functionality. Some records may need to be retained where required for security, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or law.
International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where applicable, RoadQuest uses contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service and data involved.
